Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

Note: Nothing on this site should be construed as legal advice. Trust me, you can find a better lawyer ANYWHERE.

Thanksgiving drugstore shopping notes

I'll post my haul later tonight. In the meantime:

- the CVS free batteries are TODAY ONLY. Coupon prints today and expires today.

- the Ghirardelli Squares at Rite Aid is double dipping with the monthly entire-week deal. So if you haven't done that deal yet, you'll get 2 extra $1 +Up Rewards for each 2 bags you buy (up to 4 bags).

- The retail price of the Purex is cheaper at Rite Aid than at CVS. Also, make sure to save the SavingStar coupon that came out today BEFORE YOU BUY and look for $1/1 coupons that may still be in your stash.

- there's a $1/2 Carmex coupon on Coupons.com (hopefully still available); use 1 of those and 1 $0.30/1 coupon to make the Carmex a bigger moneymaker.

- The Tena (small packages) and pantry nuts at Rite Aid are regular price, making them moneymakers with the Gold and Silver discounts.

- Didn't make it to Walgreens.
