Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

Harris Teeter Triple Coupons, Week of 9/11, Trip 2

Here are some more matchups for deals at Harris Teeter this week. Note that four of these deals involve the use of coupons we did not get in the Montgomery County, Maryland area. I ordered them from Coupons by Dede earlier this week, before I even knew about the triple coupons event, as I knew they would likely produce free or at least cheap product when doubled. Instead of the coupons I used, in this area we received $1.00/2 versions of the same coupons, which of course would not double during this event. These four deals have been italicized for easy elimination in the likely event you do not have these coupons.

Dang that sounded formal. Here are the deals, y'all:

Bought 1 Hamburger Ultimate Helper $1.67, regularly $2.99
Buy 1, Receive $0.50 SavingStar Credit
Used 1 $0.50/1 Internet printable coupon (Coupons.com)
And used 1 $0.50/1 ZVR coupon
Paid -$0.33 (applied to the rest of my transaction), Will Receive $0.50 SavingStar Credit
Final Price: $0.83 MONEYMAKER

*Note this is a separate deal from the regular $1.00 Hamburger Helpers, of which you have to buy 3*

Bought 1 Old El Paso Stand & Serve Soft Tortilla Shells $2.00, regularly $2.99
Used 1 $0.75/1 Old El Paso Stand & Serve Tortilla Shells from SS 8/25
Final Price: Free

Bought 1 Old El Paso Cooking Sauce $2.00, regularly $2.79
Used 1 $0.75/1 Old El Paso Cooking Sauce from SS 8/25

Bought 1 Old El Paso Refried Beans, 16 oz $1.25, regularly $1.69
Used 1 $0.50/1 Internet printable coupon (Coupons.com - zip 77477)
Final Price: Free

*If you still have the $0.60/3 ZVR and/or SavingStar credits, you can use it when you buy 3 of the OEP products to turn the deal into a moneymaker. Though it does not appear the ZVR is automatically coming off when you buy the beans. Hopefully the SavingStar coupon will apply automatically, but if it doesn't you can always contact SavingStar customer service to get it corrected. They're quite helpful.*

Bought 1 Gillette Fusion Shaving Gel $3.99, regularly $4.99
Used 1 $2.00/1 Gillette Fusion Shave Prep from PG 9/1
And used 1 $2.00/1 ZVR coupon

Bought 1 Lysol Wipes 35 ct $2.00, regularly $3.49
Used 1 $0.75/1 Internet printable coupon (Target.com)
Final Price: Free

Bought 1 Kraft Fresh Takes Baking Crumbs, 6 oz $2.50, regularly $3.19

Bought 1 Kellogg's Pop Tarts $1.50, regularly $2.49
Used 1 $0.70/1 Internet printable coupon (Coupons.com)

*The Pop Tarts deal is fraked up, you guys. At some stores select varieties are BOGO, while others aren't on sale. At other stores, they're all supposedly marked as $1.50 each, but not all varieties are ringing up at sale price. So unless you are willing to pay a whopping $0.24 for a box of Pop Tarts, be careful which ones you buy.*
