Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

Note: Nothing on this site should be construed as legal advice. Trust me, you can find a better lawyer ANYWHERE.

Still working on the Arm & Hammer deal. Just need two more toothbrushes. Also I received my P&G $15 rebate card today, so I used that to make up for the pitiful amount of +Up Rewards I had to spend.

Spend $20.00, Receive $10.00 +Up Reward, Limit 4

Used 2 $2.00/1 Internet printable coupons (ArmAndHammer.com; Smartsource.com)
Paid $3.49

$  82.47  Shelf price
-   26.00  Coupons
-   26.05  Discounts
=$30.42  Out of pocket cost
-   22.00  +Up Rewards receievd
=$  8.42  89.8% savings off shelf price

What I actually paid: $30.42 - $14.00 previous +Up Rewards - $15.00 P&G rebate card + $1.70 sales tax = $3.12 paid out of pocket. Walked away with $22.00 in new +Up Rewards.

Net Cost: -$4.88 (I never counted the P&G card amount toward my savings percentages since it was earned gradually, so I'm calculating it as savings here.)
