Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

Moneymaker paper at Staples and cheap energy shots and free makeup atRite Aid!

Rite Aid:

Bought 2 Revlon Nearly Naked Liquid or Powder Makeup $9.99 each, regular price
Bought 2 Revlon Nail Emery Boards $1.25 each, regular price
BOGO 50%
Spend $15.00, Receive $5.00 +Up Reward, Limit 2

Used 2 $2.00/1 Revlon Foundation, Powder, BB Cream, Concealer, Blush or Primer from SS 4/28
And used 2 $1.00/1 Revlon Beauty Tool from SS 4/28
And used 2 $2.00/1 Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup Adperk coupons (RiteAid.com)
And used 2 $1.00/1 Revlon Nail Tools Adperk coupons (RiteAid.com)
Paid $4.85, Received $5.00 +Up Reward
Final Price: $0.15 MONEYMAKER

*NOTE: An unexpected $5.00/1 Load2Card coupon came off with this purchase. This was probably because the Revlon Foundation coupons beeped and had to be manually entered. Upon further investigation, the coupon that was applied was the $5.00/2 Almay Load2Card coupon, which should not have applied to this product. So I made an additional $5.00, but I wouldn't count on the same happening to you necessarily, since that coupon definitely should not apply to Revlon products. Big oops, Rite Aid!

Bought 2 Street King Energy Shot, 2.5 oz $2.99 each, regular price
$0.99 Off through 6/1
Buy 1, Receive $0.50 +Up Reward through 6/1, Limit 4

Used 2 $1.00/1 Adperk coupons (RiteAid.com)
Paid $2.00, Received 2 $0.50 +Up Rewards
Final Price: $1.00 ($0.50 each) for 2

$28.46  Shelf price
- 14.00  Coupons
-   7.61  Discounts
=$6.85  Out of pocket cost
-  6.00  +Up Rewards Received

What I actually paid: $6.85 - $5.00 erroneously applied coupon + $1.25 sales tax = $3.10 paid out of pocket. Walked away with $6.00 in new +Up Rewards.

Net Cost: $2.10
