Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

Cheap Crest Whitestrips (for some) at CVS!

If you're lucky enough to have a couple of coupons for Crest Whitestrips, you can get some for quite cheap this week at CVS! The $7.00/1 manufacturer coupon has been inside several different P&G products in the past year or so, and last week a high-value $10/1 coupon printed from the Magic Coupon Machine for a lucky few (you may have also gotten a $5.00/1).

Here's what I did:

Bought 1 Crest 3D Whitestrips 10 ct $19.99, regularly $32.49
Used 1 $7.00/1 manufacturer coupon from previous product insert
And used 1 $10.00/1 CVS coupon that previously printed from Magic Coupon Machine
Final Price: $2.99 (90.1% savings off shelf price)

What I actually paid: $2.99 - $3.00 previous Extra Bucks (rounded down to $2.99) + $1.20 sales tax = $1.20 paid out of pocket.

Net Cost: $4.20

UPDATE: This purchase also qualified for the $15/$50 Crest/Oral-B/Scope Rebate, as does any other purchase of those brands from November 25 (the Sunday after Thanksgiving) through January 5.
