Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.
If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

Score cheap yogurt and organic tomato paste with new coupons!
BettyCrocker.com has released new coupons that, when taken to Safeway and Harris Teeter, make for some almost free food!
$0.40/1 Yoplait Simplait yogurt - Safeway has this on sale for $0.69 through October 9. This coupon when doubled makes them free (actually, better than free if you get overage like I did)! There was also a $0.30/1 one in the SS 8/26 which makes them $0.09 each.
$0.60/1 Muir Glen product - take this coupon to Harris Teeter, where you can score the tomato paste for $0.19 each after doubling! There's also a $0.50/1 on Coupons.com - I went ahead and printed that one as well, but I'm sitting on it until the last minute in the hopes of a Harris Teeter triple couponing event... *crosses fingers*
Here's what I did:
Bought 7 Yoplait Simplait Yogurts $0.69 each, regularly $0.99 each
Used 6 $0.40/1 Internet printable coupons (BettyCrocker.com)
Final Price: $0.03 for all 7!
At Harris Teeter:
Bought 3 Muir Glen Tomato Paste $1.39 each, regular price
Used 3 $0.60/1 Internet printable coupons (BettyCrocker.com)
Final Price: $0.57 ($0.19 each for 3)
*I have three more coupons that I'm redeeming later this week; Harris Teeter generally only allows three like coupons per trip*
