Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

Look! Almost free hair color at CVS after sales tax!
I finally did the hair color deal at CVS! Also I found three at one store that each includes a large sample bottle of Pantene shampoo! It's like half the size of a regular bottle! Well, maybe a third. Still, so exciting! I just wish Natural Instincts had more vibrant colors. Oh well. It is semi-permanent hair color, after all. I need to lower my expectations. It *was* frakin' free (well, technically $0.30 each if you include sales tax).
Bought 5 Clairol Natural Instincts or Nice’n Easy Non-Permanent Hair Color $5.99 each, regularly $8.99 each
Spend $25.00, Receive $5.00 Extra Bucks, Limit 2
Used 5 $3.00/1 Clairol Natural Instincts or Nice ‘N Easy Non-Permanent Hair Color Products from SS 8/12
And used 5 $2.00/1 Haircolor $5.99 or more CVS coupons from Magic Coupon Machine (printing every day)
Paid $4.95, Received $5.00 Extra Bucks
Final Price: Free
$44.95 Shelf price
- 25.00 Coupons
- 15.00 Discounts
=$4.95 Out of pocket cost
- 5.00 Extra Bucks Received
What I actually paid: $4.95 - $5.00 in previous Extra Bucks (rounded down) + $1.50 sales tax = $1.50 paid out of pocket. Walked away with $5.00 in new Extra Bucks.
This purchase also qualifies for the Spend $25.00, Receive $5.00 P&G rebate
