Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

My Massive Sunday Haul, 7/1/12

"Thanks for bringing our electricity back, Doctor! Don't touch me."
So the title of this post is a lie for two reasons: This haul was hardly "massive," and most of it did not occur on Sunday! We lost power for two days and three nights as a result of the insane storm that hit the DC metro area Friday night. With no power, I was unable to put together my typical brilliant couponing plan for the week. It was horrible. I encourage you to enroll in therapy to deal with your loss.

Fortunately, I already knew about the Pantene deal (and had ordered and received additional coupons from eBay to complete it), and was able to put together a second CVS gas card scenario without computer assistance. I picked up on the Align and the Fiji deals simply by looking at the ad. OLD SKOOL! I also learned about the moneymaker Nivea deal (which I posted about earlier), as well as the NatuRelief deal, today from The Krazy Coupon Lady once my power was restored.

I may or may not go to Walgreens/Target this week. We'll see. Some deals are popping up at the former that may persuade me to make the trip. In the meantime, here's what I've done so far this week:
