Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

Ultra cheap 50 cent Garnier haircolor at CVS!

You never know when you'll have to go all Pelican Brief, drastically change your hair color and hide from jerkwads trying to kill you.

"Why oh why did I have to write that legal brief about pelicans?!"
So I like to have a lot of different hair colors on hand, just in case. Good thing I can get them for almost free like all the time through couponing!

Anywho, here's the deal, good at CVS through Saturday:

Bought 3 Garnier Nutrisse hair color $4.99 each, regularly $8.49 each
Spend $15.00, Receive $5.00 Extra Bucks, Limit 1
Used 3 $2.00/1 manufacturer coupons from RP 5/13
And used 3 $1.00/1 Garnier Hair Care/Color purchase CVS coupons that have been printing from Magic Coupon Machine every day this week
Paid $5.97, Received $5.00 Extra Bucks
Final Price: $0.97 (0.33 each, or $0.51 each with tax) when you buy 3

$25.47  Shelf price
-  9.00   Coupons
- 10.50  Discounts
=$5.97  Out of pocket cost
-   5.00  Extra Bucks
=$0.97  96.2% savings off shelf price

What I actually paid: $5.97 - $5.97 Extra Bucks + $0.54 sales tax = $0.54 paid out of pocket. Walked away with $5.00 in Extra Bucks
