Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

A quick trip to Rite Aid with my new coupons!

If you thought the baby food freaked the hubby out...
So there were two deals at Rite Aid I couldn't take advantage of earlier this week, as I didn't have all the coupons I needed. So I ordered them from Coupons by Dede, and they finally arrived today. The 2 Pantene BOGO Free coupons I bought were $0.25 each, and the 2 Clearblue coupons were $0.20 each. After forking over $0.90 (well, and shipping, but I bought a bunch of other coupons too, so I'm just attributing that cost to them), I was able to do these deals:

Bought 4 Pantene Shampoo or Conditioner, 12.6oz, or Stylers, 5.37-8.5oz $3.50 each, regularly $4.99 each
Buy 2, Receive $2.00 +Up Reward, Limit 2
Used 2 B1G1 Pantene products from PG 4/29
And used 1 $3.00/2 manufacturer coupon from PG 5/13
Paid $4.00, Received 2 $2.00 +Up Rewards
Final Price: 4 Free

Bought 2 Clear Blue Ovulation or Pregnancy Test Kits $11.19 each, regularly $13.99 each
With 20% Gold Discount
Buy 1, Receive $5.00 +Up Reward, Limit 2
Used 2 $2.00/1 Clearblue digital pregnancy test or digital ovulation test, excludes trial from RP 5/6 (regional, would have to be ordered)
Paid $18.38, Received 2 $5.00 +Up Rewards
Final Price: $8.38 ($4.19 each) for 2

$ 47.94  Shelf price
-  11.56  Discounts
-  14.00  Coupons
= 22.38  Out of pocket cost
-  14.00  +Up Rewards Received
+   0.90  Cost of coupons
=$9.28  (80.6% savings off shelf price)

What I actually paid: $22.38 - $22.00 in previous +Up Rewards + $2.19 sales tax = $2.57 paid out of pocket. Walked away with $14.00 in new +Up Rewards.

Can you believe pregnancy tests are taxed?! WTF?!!!
