Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

Late Night Grocery Store Insanity Extravaganza!

So I decided to hit all three Olney grocery stores (Shoppers doesn't exist in my world) tonight to partake in a few deals. Craziness ensued!

FYI: the Olney Giant and Harris Teeter have both posted notices stating they will match Safeway coupons! I was so annoyed I didn't bring my whole ad with me to those stores (I had visited Safeway first and left most of it there when I was done). BUT I did have the very front of the ad, specific to the Olney Safeway, which included a store coupon for 20% off all fresh meat with a $30 grocery purchase! So I had that coupon honored at Harris Teeter.

One disappointment: I was entitled to two catalinas at Harris Teeter: a $4.00 one for my Philadelphia purchases, and a $1.00 one for purchasing 2 Dole Real Fruit Bites. Neither printed. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!! After spending a half hour checking out (I told you it was CRAZEE), I didn't want to bother the skeleton staff about this at midnight, so I'll be contacting the Coupon Network/Catalina people directly in the hopes that they'll mail me the rewards to which I'm entitled. Le sigh. Here's hoping I get my 5 bucks!
