Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

Note: Nothing on this site should be construed as legal advice. Trust me, you can find a better lawyer ANYWHERE.

High value coupons disappear quickly for a reason - Free stuff at Target!

I told Miles to give me "sexy."

I spend SO much frakin' time on couponing blogs - The Krazy Coupon Lady, Living on a Coupon, Whorin' for Coupons - okay, I made that last one up. ANYWHO, because of this, I often am able to print coupons that aren't around for terribly long. Two examples: the $5.00/2 Revlon beauty tools Target printable coupon, and the $2.00/1 My First Crayola Facebook printable coupon, both of which popped in and out of existence in NO time flat. I was able to use these coupons to score some (mostly) free items at Target. See, it pays to have no life, people!

Also, I took advantage of two rebate deals: The Lysol Dual Action wipes try me free rebate offer - which ran in this week's SmartSource insert (you can also download a rebate form here) - and the World's Best Litter try me free rebate that I posted about a couple of weeks ago.

And thus this transaction was born:

Bought 4 My First Crayola safety scissors 3-packs $2.99 each, regular price
Used 4 $2.00/1 Internet printable Facebook coupons (no longer available)
And used 4 $1.00/1 Target printable coupons (Target.com)
Final Price: 4 Free (actually received $0.04 overage)

*There is also a $1.00/1 Internet printable coupon on Coupons.com, which would make these $0.99 each*

Bought 1 Revlon Foot File $4.29, regular price
Bought 4 Revlon Toe Clippers $2.24 each, regular price
Bought 3 Revlon nail file multipacks $1.27 each, regular price
Used 4 $5.00/2 Target printable coupons (no longer available) - rounded down to match cost of items ($15.53)
Final Price: $1.53 for all 8 items

The rebate offer on the bag - USELESS!

Used 1 $3.00/1 Internet printable coupon (Smartsource.com)
Will submit for Try Me Free rebate
Paid $4.99, will receive $7.99 rebate
Final Price: $3.00 MONEYMAKER
