Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

Note: Nothing on this site should be construed as legal advice. Trust me, you can find a better lawyer ANYWHERE.

WARNING: Rite Aid +Up Rewards not scanning properly

If you have any $4.00 or $15.00 +Up Rewards from the purchase of Thermacare or reading glasses last week, listen up: These rewards are not scanning in properly! They are very likely to scan in at half their face value. This is because there was a glitch last week in Rite Aid's system that was causing more rewards to print than should have been printing for these deals.  As a result, Rite Aid adjusted the rewards amounts mid week (e.g. $2 rewards were printing for each Thermacare instead of $4 reward for each 2).

So keep an eye on these rewards scanning and, if the store will not adjust them to their face value, complain to corporate via email or call 1-800-748-3243.
