Welcome to an irreverent, not-at-all comprehensive blog about my couponing exploits in Montgomery County, Maryland, with some annoying cats sprinkled about. Try not to step on them; they get ever so cross. Also there may be some law stuff here and there, but not too much, because most law stuff is boring.

If bored, feel free to follow me on Twitter @madcatdisease

My Massive Sunday Haul, 1/8/12

I have way too much hair color. And cold medicine. And cough drops. It's ridiculous. Time to weed out the stockpile and donate/gift some stuff all freakin' ready! That is, if I can find the damn time. Stupid full-time job getting in the way of my couponing. *grumble grumble*

So here's what I collected today.

CVS:

Not the best week for CVS. Boo. Though I have just decided to try a deal that should allow me to get 9 Finish powertabs boxes for $0.24 each. Just bought some coupons off eBay in anticipation. Between this and the recent Quantum freebies I've piled up, I'm never going to have to buy dishwasher detergent again!

Also, I didn't do the Kodak free DVD deal because apparently you have to put it together IN-STORE. Who has time for that?!

Bought 1 Mars Chocolate Single (Dove Bar), 1.08-2.15 oz $0.75, regularly $1.19

Final Price: $4.96 ($1.24 each)

*Alas, I only had two Red Plum inserts, and thus only 2 $3 coupons. Those were in the two papers I had delivered; the four I bought off the stands Saturday didn't have that insert in them! Lame.*

Bought 2 Theraflu Warming Caplets, $5.79 each, regularly $6.49 each
Buy 2, Receive $3.00 Extra Bucks, Limit 1
Used 2 $3.00/1 coupons from SS 12/4

*WARNING: I originally tried this on the Theraflu Warming Syrup, Sinus and Cold Formula, but it wasn't coded as being on sale! Pretty sure this was a mistake, but beware! Double check to make sure you get that sale price and Extra Bucks!*
