I frakin' love these dishwasher tablet things. No more detergent dust getting into my eyes and nose and mouth when I pour it! Ugh. So I have a pretty huge stockpile of them. And I just added about 2 years more to the mix. Now I just gotta figure out where I'm gonna put it all...
Bought 18 Finish Powerball Tabs/Gelpacs, 20 count $3.50 each, regularly $6.39 each
Spend $30.00, Receive $10.00 Cash Card, Limit 5 per card
Used 18 $2.15/1 manufacturer coupons from SS 1/1 (yes, the coupon can be used on the 20-count Powerball Tabs/Gelpacs; the company clarified the coupon wording on their Facebook page).
*The coupon technically states a limit of 2 to be used per transaction; I don't see what the big deal is here, since splitting it up into separate transactions of 2 each won't keep you from getting the deal (it's tracked on your ExtraCare card). I didn't have to do it. But if the store insists on doing it, just do it.*
Paid $24.30, received 2 $10.00 CVS Cash Cards
Final Price: $4.30 ($0.24 each) for 18 (96% savings off shelf price!)
What I actually paid: $24.30 - $5.24 in previous Extra Bucks - $10.00 CVS cash card (I split up the transactions so I could use the first cash card on the second transaction) + $3.78 sales tax = $12.84 paid out of pocket. Walked away with a $10 CVS Cash Card.
Of course you can do this once by only buying 9. Or you could pair some with the $2.00 All Detergent or $5.00 Airwick Minis. Get creative! I can't do everything for you. Sheesh!
